Who we are
Nourish is a personal health, nutrition and weight management app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have.
What we collect
Account details (email, name). Health profile details you enter: age, sex, height, weight, country, food preferences, activity level, work type, sleep window, health conditions, allergies and fitness level. Daily logs: meals and their nutrition, photos of meals, water, steps, workouts, sleep, weight and body measurements. Messages you send to the AI coach.
Why we use it
To calculate your calorie and nutrient targets, generate meal plans, recognise food from photos, answer coach questions with your real numbers, and show your progress over time. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
AI processing
Meal descriptions, meal photos and coach messages are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. They are processed to serve your request and are not used to train public models.
Storage and security
Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security, so each account can only read and write its own rows. Meal and progress photos are kept in a private storage bucket. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Not medical advice
Nourish provides general wellness information. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Speak to a qualified clinician before making significant changes to your diet, exercise or medication.
Children
Nourish is not intended for anyone under 16.
